Lights Up: Giuseppe Zanotti meets iGuzzini

MILAN—To celebrate the 2023 edition of Milan Design Week, Giuseppe Zanotti, the luxury Italian footwear brand, is partnering with IGuzzini, an international leader in design lighting culture, on an illuminating showcase. Turning on April 18th and running the entire week, Giuseppe Zanotti’s Milan flagships will feature iconic re-editions from iGuzzini’s new Italian Echoes collection.

Specifically, lighting up the windows of via Montenapoleone 8 and 22, will be pieces created for iGuzzini by Italian design titans, Gio Ponti and Rodolfo Bonetto. Ponti’s “Polsino,” created in 1968, is an architectural table lamp consisting of two identical thermoformed shells. While Bonetto’s “Nitia,” designed in 1972, with its clear round lampshade, and cylindrical base, epitomizes Italian design of the 70s.

Both pieces are part of iGuzzini’s new Italian Echoes Collection, a reedition of spectacular archival pieces reimagined in sustainable materials and energy saving sources, which will be shown concurrently during Design Week inside the iGuzzini’s via Palermo showroom. The design-lead lights, thoughtfully set in the windows, create a chic, sophisticated spotlight on Giuseppe Zanotti’s vibrant spring-summer collection.
