GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI SPRING/SUMMER 2026 COLLECTION “EFFORTLESS ELEGANCE”
MILAN – Unexpected pairings, contrasts and contradictions converge with Zanotti’s signature codes to shape the Spring/Summer 2026 collection: an expression of effortless elegance and understated sensuality, where each creation embodies spontaneity and strength.
The new collection unfolds as a story centred on the woman and her desires. Clean, minimalist silhouettes define the day, while stiletto styles, enriched with jewel embellishments, bring a luminous touch to the evening. Each creation exists beyond the passing of time and the fleeting nature of trends. A form of luxury without ostentation or effort, rooted in exceptional craftsmanship, provides the guiding thread of the collection.
At the heart of the collection is a renewed appreciation for the intrinsic nature of materials, expressed through the selection of exceptional leathers designed to embrace the foot and enhance the silhouettes of each style. Craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail and the inherent quality of each shoe seamlessly unite day and evening.
Handcrafted jewels, leathers accented with contrasting stitching and exquisite leather-covered heels become distinctive signatures, adding value and character to every creation. The colour palette is rich and spicy: orange, red, light blue and yellow emerge as vibrant accents against a neutral foundation of ivory, dark brown and black.
Among the standout styles is the new Brivido silhouette, an evolution of the iconic Intriigo. Its defining feature is an elongated, square-shaped sole, paired with a new tapered heel that combines a slender profile with stability. The use of sporty leathers adds a raw edge, transforming the style into a true object of desire.
Panier introduces a fusion of comfort and sensuality, reinterpreting the classic ballerina through a 3 cm wedge and an elongated shape that redefines its traditional silhouette.
Jewellery, a defining element of the Zanotti aesthetic, is sculpted to meet the needs of the contemporary woman. Set on stiletto or tapered heels, it brings a luminous touch to elegant styles. Precious accessories inspired by the world of fine jewellery are paired with contrasting materials – gros-grain, leather and satin – embellishing mules, sandals and slingbacks with an unmistakable sense of sophistication.
“In this collection, I wanted to portray a woman free from convention, who chooses her footwear according to her own desires rather than imposed rules,” says Giuseppe Zanotti. “Elegance comes from the naturalness of gestures and the quality of materials, not from the pursuit of spectacular effects. It is a form of luxury expressed through craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.”
For the press presentation of the new collection, Giuseppe Zanotti collaborated with the design gallery Nilufar. At 18 Via Monte Napoleone, Nina Yashar created an exceptional installation, personally curating a selection of furnishings. A visionary curator and pioneer of the design world, Yashar brought together works by artists and designers including Massimiliano Locatelli, Studioutte and Sette7 across four rooms, creating a visual narrative in dialogue with the brand’s aesthetic universe.
The collaboration stems from the encounter of two kindred voices – fashion and design – united by a shared sensitivity to balance, material and form. Richly veined green marbles, satin-finished aluminium and green stone intertwine in a sophisticated interplay of contrasts, where tables, armchairs and seating coexist in perfect harmony.
The colours and materials were selected in close dialogue with the architecture of the space, creating an ongoing conversation with its interiors and original finishes. The installation thus becomes a project that seamlessly blends elegance and experimentation into a singular narrative.
