Introducing “Giuseppe Zanotti Icons”, a coveted new concept that will help a new generation rediscover some of the House’s most iconic styles.

MILAN – Because icons are timeless, and style is forever. Presenting “Giuseppe Zanotti Icons”—a special new initiative that will see the return of some of the House’s most celebrated styles. Selected from the archives, “Icons” pieces epitomize the craft, mastery and glamour of Giuseppe Zanotti. Part of the House’s legacy, these stand-out shoes are re-issued with a contemporary twist while staying true to their original aesthetic.

“My approach to design has always been about pushing forward and creating new worlds and fantasies,” says Giuseppe Zanotti. “Yet, at the same time, two decades on, I was compelled to share some of my most revered creations and give the new generation a chance to experience their beauty.” The first style to sneak out of the archives will be the “Venere.” Italian for “Venus,” the knock-out stiletto, which made its debut in the Fall Winter 2012-2013 collection, features a sinuous gold accessory that slithers around the foot like a precious snake. Originally photographed for the Fall 2012 campaign, the provocative stiletto returns in three variants: a black suede sandal with gold hardware, a black and a red suede version with silver hardware. A black suede flat with gold hardware completes the offering. Described by Giuseppe as "a fusion between a serpent and a woman's body,” the elegant and powerful style drops December 10th, exclusively on giuseppezanotti.com and in select Giuseppe Zanotti flagships.

“Far from nostalgic, this project is a fresh chance to write an exciting new story,” says Giuseppe. “These are my icons and icons transcend seasons and trends.”
